The room was unbelievably dusty, and I felt like I was staying in a neglected place. I brought it up to the staff, but their efforts seemed wasted. Really disappointing, especially for the price I paid. Totally not what I expected.

A such great stay for lack of service. The hotel was clean with great and particularly good location to Tenjin commercial area and brand-new rooms. Enjoyable breakfast with a wide array of food, amicable staff. Location close enough to the restaurant and convenience stores and train station. Again, walking distance to a Japanese Shinto shrine.

I loved the location—just a quick walk from Gion subway station, super convenient for getting around! The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially when I needed assistance with my bag. The room was clean, and I enjoyed the spacious bathroom. The breakfast was decent, although it could use a bit more variety. All in all, it made for a generally comfortable stay!
On the downside, the room felt a bit cramped for my luggage, which was a hassle. The laundry situation wasn’t great either; only three machines and confusing instructions. It wasn’t exactly a stress-free experience.

During my five-night stay, I was impressed by how the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help me retrieve a lost bag. With Yumi’s Japanese script and the friendly assistance of Kushan and Gina, my stress was quickly alleviated! The daily breakfast offered a delicious array of homemade Japanese dishes, including an excellent cheesecake. The newly refurbished rooms were spacious for Japan, and I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and the soothing plum tea provided in the room.

I had a decent stay during my business trip. The front desk staff was super friendly and helped me out when I needed directions and info. The place is close to the Gion subway station, making it easy to get around, and I really enjoyed the daily breakfast options too! The shower was awesome—definitely a nice touch!
It wasn’t all great. The room felt a bit cramped, especially with two tiny twin beds that barely fit two people. Plus, the breakfast options were pretty repetitive; same stuff every day. The laundry situation was a hassle too; with only three machines, I found myself waiting in line longer than I liked.

The breakfast offered was delicious and had a variety of Japanese food to choose from. the hotel's location was convenient as it was walking distance from a 24-hour supermarket and various restaurants. Another advantage was the comfortable shower which was perfect after a long day of exploring.
The hotel was not suitable for larger groups as we had booked a room for five people but were given two beds that were too small for all of us to sleep comfortably. We had to book another room and pay extra, which was frustrating.
